Spiritual Perspectives: A Study in Habakkuk

The book of Habakkuk tells the story of a prophet who asks a question that many of God’s children have asked time and time again: “Why?”
The book of Habakkuk begins with complaint but ends with praise. How did this transformation take place? All he could see on this sin-cursed earth was the underside of the fabric of God’s perfect plan. But as Habakkuk sets himself upon the watchtower, the Lord graciously lifts the masterpiece up so Habakkuk could catch just a glimpse of what was on the upper side. Where once he could only see the wicked raging about him, he now sees the gracious, ever-loving, ever-abiding arms of his Lord’s embrace.

Members One of Another: A Study in Romans 12

I’m excited to announce that Members One of Another: A Study in Romans 12 is now available to purchase from Amazon and Barnes and Noble in paperback and ebook format.
I would like to take a moment to inform the readers about where this book is coming from. I make no claims that I am a good writer, and I do not claim that everything written is correct. But much prayer and study have been put into this book. The book was not written to promote my name or build myself up. I endeavored to rightly divide the Word of Truth, and I desire all glory to go to the Lord for all His grace in providing for us a Living Book from which we can glean heavenly nuggets worth more than all the riches of the world. This book is simply the burden that God gave me. I was unsure of what it meant while I was working on it, but not long after the book was in print and sent to me I began to see the bigger picture. This book was for me and the church I am a member of. It is at this very moment when each member must wake up to their role and responsibility in the church. Churches are not organizations. They are organisms. I pray that as you go through the study you would seek the Lord’s will in finding your place in the local church.
